Chilford Hall Vineyard & Conference Centre in Linton is to host the "Glitter & Glamour" Headway Cambridgeshire Charity Fundraising Ball and Auction 2010 on Saturday 27^th February at 7.15pm.

Headway Cambridgeshire, based in Mill Road, Cambridge, is celebrating 21 years of working with people who are living with the effects of a brain injury as a result of accident or illness. The charity delivers a comprehensive rehabilitation and support service to brain injury survivors, their families and carers.

The Glitter & Glamour event is being held to raise funds to develop the vital service provided by the charity and is expected to attract more than 150 local charity supporters and business representatives from the Cambridgeshire area.

Auction prizes include: Tickets to see Arsenal and Manchester United, an original painting of Madonna, a cricket bat signed by the Captain of the England women's cricket team, Tea at the House of Commons, a cookery course and a signed Cambridge United shirt.

Live music entertainment will be provided by Cambridgeshire based Abba tribute band the "Abba Queens" (www.abbaqueens.com) and guests can enjoy a delicious three course meal and casino.

A Headway Cambridgeshire spokesperson says, "We rely heavily on the continued generosity of local individuals and businesses in Cambridgeshire to fund vital services we provide to those affected by brain injury."

 "With local fundraising support we can continue to identify skills and help people to maximise their potential, offering tailored educational sessions, programmes and practical advice to those in need."

Tickets cost £50 per person (including a three course meal and entertainment) or £475 for a table of ten.
